To kick things off, Julian Zachmann from the Augustenberg Agricultural Technology Center will present measures that have been tested in recent years as part of the reduction of pesticides on arable demonstration farms in the state. Ronja Ballreich, crop advisor in the Agriculture Department, will then provide information on current innovations in fertilizer legislation.
The event will conclude with contributions from crop protection advisors Anja Brugger and Franziska Grötzinger. They will report on the latest developments in plant protection, explain the plant protection product documentation from 2026 and present official trials in sugar beet (insecticide trial) and winter barley (herbicide trial). There will be an opportunity for discussion after each presentation.
The arable farming evening will take place as a hybrid event.
