The Community Psychiatric Association (GPV)
The stakeholders in community psychiatry have joined forces to form a community psychiatric association (GPV). This includes the social psychiatric service, the three responsible clinics and psychiatric outpatient clinics, the day care centers, providers of integration assistance as well as representatives of people with psychiatric experience, relatives, the IBB office and specialists.
They have all concluded an agreement. The aim is to ensure that medical, social psychiatric and other support services are networked and coordinated.
In future, services are to be available closer to home. For this reason, so-called community psychiatric centers (GPZ) are being set up in various regions of the district: You can find the psychiatric planning regions here and the flyer for the GPZ Region Mitte here.
