RadSERVICE points

Traveling by bike in everyday life is easy and flexible. A puncture, such as a flat tire, is inconvenient, especially if the right tools are at home. The RadSERVICE points for bicycles provide a remedy: at the practical pump and repair stations, cyclists can carry out small repairs or safety checks themselves quickly and easily. And around the clock!

The RadSERVICE points are installed in cooperation with the RadKULTUR initiative. The district or the responsible municipalities regularly check the functionality of the stations and replace damaged or missing individual parts. Of course, we are particularly happy about the repair station in front of the district administration office in Ludwigsburg, which is located directly opposite the new RegioRadStuttgart station and in the immediate vicinity of the bus stop. The charging station for electric cars is also not far away. "The forecourt of the district hall is increasingly developing into a holistic mobility station," says Dr. Christian Sußner, Head of Environment, Technology and Construction for the district of Ludwigsburg, who officially opened the station in February 2022. "We are delighted to be able to make attractive offers to those who use environmentally friendly means of transport."

The bike station at the S-Bahn station in Ludwigsburg offers a complete bicycle service. The stations, which are operated by the social enterprise "Neue Arbeit gGmbH", offer a low-cost, weather-protected and guarded bicycle parking service. The stations are also staffed by bicycle mechanics who provide maintenance and care services during the parking period.
