Residential care facilities and integration assistance facilities in the Ludwigsburg district are subject to state oversight by the Advisory and Audit Authority.
This is based on the Participation and Care Quality Act (TPQG) and the implementing regulation issued in accordance with it.
The role of the Advisory and Inspection Authority under the Participation and Care Quality Act (TPQG) is to ensure that the interests and needs of adults requiring care and support, or adults with disabilities, are identified, taken into account, and protected. The Advisory and Review Authority must ensure the appropriate quality of care and support within the facility.
The Advisory and Inspection Authority has advisory and informational responsibilities toward residents, facilities (or their operators), and the public. This applies equally to the opening of a new facility as well as to the ongoing operation of the facility. Accordingly, the Advisory and Review Authority also has monitoring and oversight responsibilities. Residents and their relatives and caregivers may contact the Advisory and Review Authority with questions or to report concerns regarding the facilities.
