Replacement driver's license/name changes/condition changes

The application can be deposited in the mailbox of the

• Ludwigsburg driving license authority
• Besigheim branch office
• Vaihingen an der Enz branch office

in the mailbox. Applications can also be submitted to the town hall of the municipality of residence (except for the city of Ludwigsburg).

Applications can only be submitted after prior online appointment in person at the Ludwigsburg district hall or the Besigheim and Vaihingen an der Enz branch offices, presenting all the necessary documents.

A provisional driving authorization can be issued to you if you appear in person.

Please note that the provisional driving license is not valid abroad.

• Valid identity card or passport

• If your identity card/passport has also been lost, please ask your local registration office to issue a registration certificate and seal the biometric photo on the back.
