With the amendment of the Child and Youth Welfare Act (SGB VIII) in October 2005, the legislator laid down the procedures for the youth welfare office and also for all services and facilities that provide services in accordance with the Child and Youth Welfare Act(§ 8a SGB VIII) and, with the Federal Child Protection Act (BKiSchG), which came into force on 01.01.2012, also extended this to persons who are in professional contact with children or young people(§ 8b SGB VIII, 4 KKG).
In accordance with Section 8a SGB VIII, the Ludwigsburg Youth Welfare Office has concluded an agreement on the protection mandate of youth welfare with all agencies in the district that provide youth welfare services in accordance with SGB VIII.
