Social counseling in accordance with the Prostitutes Protection Act

Social Counseling (Information and Counseling Session) Under the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) – Registration for Sex Workers

The Prostitute Protection Act has been in effect since July 1, 2017. Sex workers must register their work in person. Engaging in prostitution remains, in principle, license-free. However, mandatory registration is required, which includes a health consultation as well as an information and counseling session.

As part of the social counseling, sex workers receive information about their rights and obligations, how to access help in emergency situations, and available health and social services.

A registration certificate is issued as proof of registration. In addition, a pseudonymized registration certificate (alias certificate) is issued upon request. Sex workers must carry the registration certificate and proof of health counseling with them while working. The issuance of these certificates is free of charge in the Ludwigsburg district.

Counseling sessions are held by appointment only (Tel. 07141 144-43936). The sessions take place at Hindenburgstraße 46, Room 321, with Ms. Killinger.

If you have any questions regarding the information and counseling session, please contact Ms. Killinger.

You can find information on health counseling here.
