What does mobility mean to young people? Where do they see opportunities and ideas?
In connection with European Mobility Week 2025, the district had called on all students in the district—starting in fourth grade—to submit artwork by mid-May 2026 that addressed the theme “My Mobility of the Future—This Is How I Want to Get Around.” From among more than 100 submissions, a jury from the district administration selected five winning entries.
Exhibition at the County Hall
The exhibition featuring the art contest entries will be on display from July 2, 2026, through October 16, 2026, at the district administration building as part of the “Art in the District Administration Building” series.
“Some works inspire reflection, while others surprise, delight, or challenge. Together, they make it clear that mobility is far more than just transportation and infrastructure—it is an integral part of our social life,” said Andreas Eschbach, Head of the Central Administration and Schools Division at the District Office, in his opening remarks at the exhibition opening on July 2.
The exhibition invites visitors to draw inspiration from these creative perspectives on the mobility of tomorrow. “Art and Mobility” is open to the public during the District Office’s hours of operation at Hindenburgstr. 40, 71638 Ludwigsburg.
