Daycare centers - Financial support

The prerequisite for financial support for children in a child day care facility is that you live in the district of Ludwigsburg, your child attends a child day care facility, this child day care facility has an operating license in accordance with § 45 SGB VIII and you cannot reasonably be expected to bear the financial burden.

Subsidies towards the costs of childcare in daycare facilities are possible in particular:

• Crèche
• Regular kindergarten
• Kindergarten with extended opening hours
• All-day kindergarten
• after-school care center

The calculation of whether the participation fee can be paid in full or in part by the youth welfare office is carried out in accordance with § 90 Para. 4 of the German Social Code (SGB) Eighth Book (VIII) in conjunction with the social welfare regulations of the German Social Code (SGB) Twelfth Book (XII).

If you are a recipient of the following transfer benefits, the youth welfare office can pay the full participation fee for attending the daycare center:

• SGB II
• SGB XII
• AsylbLG (Asylum Seekers Benefits Act)
• Child allowance
• Housing benefit

Parents who have a low income but do not belong to the above-mentioned group of people can also apply for financial support.
