Permit for commercial road haulage

The permit entitles the holder to transport goods commercially in Germany with motor vehicles whose gross vehicle weight including trailer is more than 3.5 tons. It is personal and non-transferable.
It can be issued for a period of up to 10 years. The permit can be extended upon application.

In addition to the original permit, the permit holder will receive as many copies of the permit as there is evidence of vehicles.

It can be issued if

• the operator and the transport manager are reliable
• the financial capacity of the company is guaranteed and
• the operator or transport manager is professionally qualified

• Clearance certificate from the responsible tax office, the municipality (municipal treasury), all health insurance companies with which employees are insured, the employers' liability insurance association for vehicle maintenance - not older than 3 months -
• Certificate of professional competence in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 1071/2009
• Business registration
• Copy of identity card or passport

• List of shareholders

For managing directors / board members

• Certificate of good conduct, central trade register information to be applied for as official information. To be sent to: Ludwigsburg District Office, Road Haulage, Hindenburgstr. 40, 71638 Ludwigsburg - not older than 3 months
• Information from the driving aptitude register (KBA) - not older than 3 months
• Copy of identity card or passport

• Certificate of professional competence in accordance with Regulation (EC) 1071/2009
• Transport manager contract in accordance with Regulation (EC) 1071/2009
  This contract must show that the transport manager is responsible for the actual and permanent management of the company's transport activities.
• Apply for a certificate of good conduct, central trade register information as official information. To be sent to: Landratsamt Ludwigsburg, Güterkraftverkehr, Hindenburgstr. 40, 71638 Ludwigsburg - not older than 3 months
• Information from the driving aptitude register (KBA) - not older than 3 months
• Copy of identity card or passport

Other suitable evidence is not excluded.
