The permit entitles the holder to transport goods commercially in Germany with motor vehicles whose gross vehicle weight including trailer is more than 3.5 tons. It is personal and non-transferable.
It can be issued for a period of up to 10 years. The permit can be extended upon application.
In addition to the original permit, the permit holder will receive as many copies of the permit as there is evidence of vehicles.
It can be issued if
- the operator and the transport manager are reliable
- the financial capacity of the company is guaranteed and
- the operator or transport manager is professionally qualified
