There is a "free" transport service for disabled people in the district. The aim is to enable severely disabled people to participate in public life.
Parking concessions may be granted for severely disabled persons with exceptional walking disabilities, for blind persons and for special groups of severely disabled persons.
The law on severely disabled persons encompasses all legal regulations relating to the legal relationships of severely disabled persons in Germany.
