Since January 1, 2011, children, adolescents and young adults have been receiving benefits for education and participation in social and cultural life in the community in addition to their monthly standard needs, housing benefit or child supplement.

These benefits can be granted in cash or in kind (vouchers). The billing procedure should be as uncomplicated as possible, but should also guarantee individual support for the child. Different forms of benefit provision can therefore apply to the individual areas of the education and participation package. You will be informed of the form in which the specific benefit is provided when you submit your application.

Children and young people from families who receive
receive. Please enclose the current grant notice with your application for benefits from the education and participation package as proof of receipt of the social benefit.
Persons who are able to cover their current living expenses but not the costs incurred for the requirements of the education and participation package from their own resources are also eligible. Please note that in these cases, the granting authority will request further documentation on your personal and financial circumstances.
