The so-called "VwV Deutsch" is a language support program of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Social Affairs and Integration. The state provides the municipalities and districts with funding for German courses. It supplements the language courses offered by the BAMF.
This support program, in which the district of Ludwigsburg has been involved for several years, was developed primarily for refugees who do not have access to a BAMF integration course or DeuFöV courses. The project is also intended to offer this target group free access to learning German and thus facilitate their integration into society.
The funding requirements for this project are set out in the "VwV Deutsch". Within the framework of this administrative regulation, the district regularly organizes language courses with target level A1 - possibly preceded by literacy - up to language level B1. Target level B2 is expected to be offered in spring 2026. Target levels C1 and higher cannot currently be offered.
If you are interested in a VwV-Deutsch language course, you should contact the responsible social worker or the responsible integration manager to clarify the general personal entry requirements first. The application for a VwV German language course place can then be submitted directly via the responsible social worker or the responsible integration manager.
