Hospice work

Palliative

Palliative care looks after people in the advanced stages of an incurable illness with a limited life expectancy and severe symptoms who require particularly complex care. The aim is to maintain the quality of life of those affected and their families through medical, nursing, psychosocial and spiritual support. Further information and addresses can be found in our brochure "Hospice work".

Hospice groups

Trained employees of the outpatient hospice groups accompany terminally ill and dying people and their relatives in the last phase of their lives. The support provided by volunteers can take place at home, in inpatient care facilities or in hospital. Further information and addresses can be found in our brochure "Hospice work".

People in the advanced stages of an illness and with a limited life expectancy can be admitted to an inpatient hospice. The prerequisite for this is that a cure is ruled out and palliative (medical/nursing) care is necessary and desired. Further information and addresses can be found in our brochure "Hospice work".
