Real estate cadastre
The real estate register shows the division of land into parcels throughout the country on the basis of cadastral surveys. The real estate cadastre contains information such as location, size, usage data and details of buildings.
The real estate cadastre consists of the official real estate cadastre information system ALKIS and the real estate cadastre files and is the basis for all spatial information systems.
As the lower surveying authority, the Surveying, Land Consolidation and Geoinformation Department is responsible for maintaining the real estate cadastre in the Ludwigsburg district (with the exception of the Ludwigsburg urban area).
Note: Standard land values in the district of Ludwigsburg for the property tax return
The Surveying, Land Consolidation and Geoinformation Department is currently receiving many requests for information on the standard land values of parcels of land in the district of Ludwigsburg for the property tax return. You can only obtain this information via the portal at BORIS BW (Bodenrichtwertinformationssystem Baden-Württemberg).
The portal has been activated since 01.07.2022!

Private providers of cadastral documents do not act on behalf of the Baden-Württemberg surveying administration.
Various service providers offer property maps, property registers, cadastral maps, parcel maps or similar on the Internet. These service providers act under private law and not on behalf of the Baden-Württemberg surveying administration.
Please note: If you commission a service provider in your name to order cadastral documents for a fee, this does not exempt you from the obligation to pay fees to the Surveying Administration of Baden-Württemberg. The service of private providers can lead to considerable additional costs for you. At the State Office for Geoinformation and Land Development (LGL) or the Surveying Office of the Ludwigsburg district, you can obtain official extracts from the real estate cadastre for loan applications, preliminary building applications, real estate purchases, local plans or generally as a basis for planning for a one-off fee. The real estate cadastre data can be provided in analog and digital form in various formats. In general, analog extracts from the real estate cadastre are also available as PDF files.
Inspection, information and extracts are generally subject to a fee.
All parcels of land and buildings are recorded and described in the real estate cadastre on the basis of real estate surveys.
A current extract from the real estate cadastre is required, for example, as the basis for the site plan for building applications, to verify property boundaries, for planning and land readjustment and for land transactions.
Anyone can inspect the real estate cadastre and obtain extracts from the database on request and by stating the purpose of use. For information in connection with details of the owner, the legitimate interest must be demonstrated.
Application for extracts from the real estate register
Since January 1, 2024, applications for "Extracts from the real estate cadastre" have been submitted via the Baden-Württemberg service portal.
The applications submitted are automatically forwarded to the responsible office.
