The category B or BE driving license can be issued from the age of 17. However, the holder may only drive a motor vehicle when accompanied by a named person.

The regular driving license is then issued upon reaching the age of 18.

Where and when can I apply for BF17?

The application can be deposited in the mailbox of the

  • Ludwigsburg driving license authority
  • Besigheim branch office
  • Vaihingen an der Enz branch office

in the mailbox. It is also possible to submit the application at the town hall of the municipality of residence (except for the city of Ludwigsburg).

A personal visit to the driving license authority is only possible after prior online appointment at the Ludwigsburg district office or the Besigheim and Vaihingen an der Enz branch offices.

The application can be submitted at the earliest 6 months before reaching the minimum age of 17 and only with the consent of both parties. of both guardians can be submitted.

In the case of sole custody, proof is required.
