Municipal care conference

Municipal care conference

The municipal care conference is a regular event dedicated to improving care in the district of Ludwigsburg. It brings together elected and appointed representatives from the care and social sector to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the care sector.

The aim of the municipal care conference is to regularly discuss the necessary municipal care and support structures as well as the creation of age-appropriate neighborhood structures. New forms of housing and care should also be included. The municipal care conference is to advise on needs-oriented services and make recommendations on services in the district of Ludwigsburg. The needs in the district of Ludwigsburg are to be determined with the help of other committees, such as the decentralized care forums or other working groups/subgroups.

The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health and Integration of Baden-Württemberg underlines the fact that municipal care conferences are indispensable for the further development of care and support structures close to the neighborhood with its funding program "Municipal Care Conferences BW - Networks for People". The municipal care conference in the district of Ludwigsburg has applied for this funding program and will receive funding until the end of 2025.

The first constituent meeting of the municipal care conference took place on 03.11.2023 in the Ludwigsburg district office.

The next conference will take place on 09.10.2025.
