Local Long-Term Care Conference
The Municipal Care Conference is a regular event dedicated to improving care services in the Ludwigsburg district. It brings together elected and appointed representatives from the care and social services sectors to discuss current challenges and opportunities in the field of care.
The goal of the Municipal Care Conference is to provide regular consultation on the necessary municipal care and support structures, as well as the creation of age-appropriate neighborhood structures. New forms of housing and care are to be included in these discussions. The Municipal Care Conference is intended to deliberate on needs-based services and make recommendations regarding service offerings in the Ludwigsburg district. The needs in the Ludwigsburg district are to be identified with the assistance of other bodies, such as the decentralized care forums or other working groups and subgroups.
The Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, and Integration of Baden-Württemberg underscores that municipal care conferences are indispensable for the further development of neighborhood-based care and support structures through its funding program “Municipal Care Conferences BW – Networks for People.” The municipal care conference in the Ludwigsburg district is funded by the state of Baden-Württemberg.
The first constituent meeting of the Municipal Care Conference took place on November 3, 2023, at the Ludwigsburg District Office.
The next conference will take place on October 6, 2026.
