Since the Middle Ages, viticulture along the Neckar, Enz and smaller tributaries has been characterized by terraced steep slopes. This landscape is currently under massive economic pressure. In order to preserve this cultural asset that characterizes the district, it is not only important to promote steep-slope viticulture financially, but also to shape it in a future-oriented way.
