The employment of children is prohibited under the Youth Employment Protection Act. There are some exceptions to this, for example for work placements during compulsory schooling, occupational therapy and light work suitable for children.
In addition, the district administration office can approve applications for children aged three and over and young people who have not yet completed compulsory full-time schooling to work in theater performances, musical performances, advertising events and film and sound recordings.
Competent authority
The licensing authority is the District Office, Department of Trade Supervision, if the employer (e.g. production company) is based in the district of Ludwigsburg.
