Advance maintenance payments are financial assistance for single parents who receive no or reduced maintenance payments for their child from the other parent.
Under certain conditions, you can receive advance maintenance payments upon written application.
The eligibility requirements for receiving benefits under the Maintenance Advance Act will be extended from 01.07.2017. The benefit will be paid for children up to the age of 18 and the previous maximum period of 72 months will no longer apply.
