Affalterbach
Affalterbach - where business and quality of life form a unity
In just a few decades, Affalterbach has developed into an important business location - with over 4,000 jobs and a special mix of industries. World-famous companies and independent SMEs, crafts and trade complement each other here to form a lively economic community that is united in the local trade and commerce association.
What makes it special: The village character has been preserved. The local history museum preserves the history of the village, while the industrial estate works on the technologies of tomorrow. Old and new do not exist in opposition to each other - they enrich each other.
Living with real standards
Affalterbach's economic strength benefits everyone. The municipality offers its residents an above-average range of services: from an elementary school with its own swimming pool to well-kept green spaces and modern playgrounds and sports fields. In the town center you will find everything you need for your daily needs - a bakery, butcher and pharmacy are all within walking distance, making the center a real meeting place.
Newcomers to Affalterbach will quickly make friends: Over 30 clubs and organizations provide a wide range of leisure activities and invite you to get involved and become part of the community.
Nature on the doorstep
Affalterbach is in a quiet location - and yet not remote. There are good connections to Stuttgart and the residential areas are in a quiet location. Local recreation is not just an empty phrase here: a walk through the forest and vineyards on the Lemberg or a hike in the Buchenbachtal nature reserve starts virtually on the doorstep.
