It is important to us to serve our customers quickly and satisfactorily. In order to make the processes as uncomplicated and quick as possible, please take a moment to read the following information:

Many processes can already be handled via the internet-based registration/deregistration, so there is no need to travel to the registration office.

With i-Kfz , you can register, re-register or deregister your vehicle easily and conveniently from home.

Please note that a personal visit to the vehicle registration office is only possible after making an appointment online. The portal for online appointments is activated for two weeks in advance.

Unfortunately, we cannot rule out the possibility that there may be slight waiting times despite making an appointment.

We assure you that - as far as staffing levels and the volume of applications allow - the individual procedures will be processed immediately.

However, please understand that the registration authority can only accept your documents for further processing in the event of special or multiple procedures and staff shortages. It may then take one to three working days to process the submitted registration procedures.

However, we endeavor to keep the processing time as short as possible.

To save you further inconvenience, you can decide when submitting your documents whether you would like us to send your processed documents to you by post (registered mail) or whether you would like to collect them in person.

Please note that the licensing authority will refuse to accept your application if documents are missing or incomplete. You can find out which documents are required here.

If the booked appointments are not kept on time or documents are missing, your appointment will be forfeited.

You can contact us by e-mail for procedures related to the maintenance of the critical infrastructure. In this case, a justification and, if necessary, appropriate proof is required.
