There are various ideas for preserving the vineyard sites. Many of these were examined in detail by the district administration office and checked for feasibility.

In 2023, an action paper was drawn up summarizing the findings. These include, for example, existing and further possibilities for funding, alternatives to viticulture and keeping the vineyards open, permissibility of building structures, projects in the area of marketing and tourism.
