We
- regularly take official water samples in accordance with the requirements of the German Drinking Water Ordinance (TrinkwV), from the network as well as from public or publicly accessible buildings such as kindergartens etc. for microbiological and chemical-physical testing.
- order, directly or indirectly via the competent authority, any measures necessary to protect the population in the event of contamination.
- support the operators of public drinking water supply systems by providing professional advice, also by means of so-called water inspections.
- advise the competent authorities on the ordering of measures.
- advise operators of individual and self-supply systems as well as domestic installations, i.e. mostly private individuals, on issues of drinking water hygiene.
We
- monitor the (two) bathing lakes, advise the responsible authorities and recommend measures that are necessary to protect the public
- take official water samples for microbiological and chemical-physical analysis
- monitor the approx. 75 public swimming pools and saunas in the Ludwigsburg district and advise the operators on hygiene issues
