Together for more safety - this is the motto under which the "Sicherer Landkreis Ludwigsburg e.V." association was founded. Successful prevention requires a society-wide approach. For this reason, representatives from various institutions came together to found the association.
Goals
To promote crime prevention, accident prevention and civic engagement in the district of Ludwigsburg. The aim is to raise funds to support local prevention projects and civic engagement. On the other hand, the association itself is active in initiating and implementing crime and traffic prevention projects.

The State Women's Council of Baden-Württemberg (LFR BW) today represents 51 associations and thus over 2 million women in Baden Württemberg. This makes it the largest women's political alliance in the state and represents the diversity of the female population.
Since its foundation in 1969, the State Women's Council has worked independently, non-partisan and non-denominationally. Above all, it is committed to the appropriate participation of women in politics, business, culture and society.

The German Women's Council, an umbrella organization of around 60 women's organizations active nationwide, is the largest women's and gender equality advocacy group in Germany.
Aims
It represents women from professional, social, socio-political and women's rights associations, political parties, trade unions, churches, sport, culture, media and business. It is committed to the rights of women in Germany, in the European Union and in the United Nations. Its goal is the legal and factual equality of the sexes in all areas of life.

The Association of Cities and Towns comprises 204 cities and municipalities, including all urban districts and large district towns. All member municipalities of the association have central local functions and, in addition to their self-administration tasks, also largely perform the state tasks of a lower administrative authority. The Städtetag Baden-Württemberg represents the interests of around 6.9 million inhabitants in 204 member cities as well as municipal-related institutions vis-à-vis the state of Baden-Württemberg. Within this framework, there is also an equal opportunities working group in which the full-time equal opportunities officers of the member cities are organized.

The Landkreistag Baden-Württemberg represents the 35 districts of Baden-Württemberg. As a municipal state association, it has the task of pooling the interests of its members and representing the concerns of the districts vis-à-vis the state government, the state parliament and other institutions and associations. Other core tasks include informing and advising the districts on fundamental, organizational and technical issues as well as promoting networking among them. In order to maintain and strengthen the self-administration of the administrative districts, the rights of participation of the Landkreistag are enshrined both in the state constitution and in various state laws. Within this framework, there is also a working group of equal opportunities officers, who are located full-time at the district offices.

Objectives
The BAG represents the interests of women at federal level and creates a nationwide forum for discussions on women's and gender equality policy, ensures the exchange of experience and the flow of information between colleagues and clarifies issues relating to its own profession.
Measures
The joint work takes place through networking, the promotion of dialog on women's and gender equality policy, knowledge transfer and the exchange of good practice examples.
Federal political projects and decisions have an impact on equality on the ground. Together with other nationwide associations, the BAG lobbies for more gender equality and advocates for good local conditions so that the various municipal decisions are implemented in a gender equality-oriented manner.
The BAG intervenes in political and administrative action. It is committed to women's and gender political justice and against multiple discrimination. It is an ambassador for more women's and girls' rights and raises awareness within society. In doing so, she offers constructive criticism of political structures and decisions and puts forward proposals for change in terms of women's and gender policy.
Since May 2021, the Federal Foundation for Gender Equality has been a legally responsible foundation under public law with direct federal responsibility based in Berlin.
Objectives
Its task is to provide information, strengthen practice and support the development of new ideas for equality. It is also intended to be an open house for equality in which equality policy initiatives can work and network.

To improve protection against violence against people with disabilities, a project group consisting of experts, those affected and interested parties has been formed. The project group is managed by the city and district of Ludwigsburg. The overall coordination is carried out by the Inclusion Officer of the City of Ludwigsburg.

The rainbow brunch is a free service offered by the Tragwerk association for people from the LGBTIQ+ community and their families and relatives.

Frauen im Management (fim) is a cross-industry network for women in management or leadership with regional groups throughout Germany. One of the regional groups is based in Stuttgart.
Goals
Women in management positions, mixed leadership in all management functions and an end to the gender pay gap. The association promotes female careers - through coaching, advice and mentoring.
fim supports women in becoming (more) visible! This includes self-marketing, the opportunity to appear within fim or at partner organizations and at trade fairs and congresses.

Aims
Men's groups see themselves as a protected space in which all topics relating to being a man can be discussed. It provides a basis for networking with like-minded people, gaining inspiration, strengthening one's own masculinity and developing personally as a man. In the men's group, we are men among men.

"Frauen in der Kommunalwirtschaft" is a supra-regional network that aims to unite and support women in municipal data provision.
Goals
The motivation is to strengthen the visibility and exchange of women in the municipal economy. The aim is to encourage women to take the next step in their municipal careers and also to take on management positions. Among other things, online webinars and network meetings are offered.
