As parents, you are constantly faced with challenges and problems when raising children and young people. Every family has a wide range of possible solutions and skills to help them overcome these. Sometimes, however, your own ideas are not enough and you feel the need to seek support in counseling sessions. This can be about getting suggestions, strengthening your own skills and feeling like an expert for your own child.
The Psychological Counseling Center offers parents or guardians, children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 21 support in clarifying and overcoming educational difficulties, family conflicts and problems in kindergarten, school or vocational training.
The counseling services offered by the Psychological Counseling Center are free of charge.
The counselors are bound by legal confidentiality.

Open youth consultation hours
You can come to the youth consultation hour without registering. It always takes place on Wednesdays from 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm. You simply come to the Ludwigsburg District Office, in the secretariat, level 5, room 529.
Parents or adults who wish to make appointments for themselves or their children are asked not to contact us via the contact form. You are welcome to contact us by telephone at:

You can register via the secretary's office of the Psychological Counseling Center. The appropriately trained team assistants will take your request. The counselors will then contact you as soon as possible to arrange an initial consultation. Your registration and all conversations will be treated in strict confidence by the team at the Psychological Counseling Center.

The counseling team includes psychologists, educators, a doctor and social education workers. Each counselor has additional training in counseling methods (e.g. systemic family therapy, conversational psychotherapy, behavioral therapy and hypnotherapy). We continue to develop our counseling skills through regular training and supervision.
