Energy Conservation Commissioner Carsten Herbert will be visiting the district twice: on November 26, 2026, at the Stadthalle in Ditzingen, and on December 9, 2026, at the Schönenberghalle in Freudental.

His presentation, including a Q&A session, will run from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. each time; doors open at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free. All residents of the Ludwigsburg district are cordially invited. The events are being held in cooperation with the city of Ditzingen and the municipality of Freudental.

What can you expect?

Carsten Herbert will take you on a journey through the world of heat pumps and explain in simple terms how the technology works. He’ll also show you that many existing buildings can be made ready for the switch to heat pumps today with just a few targeted measures. Of course, there will also be time for your questions. A book table and information booths round out the evening.
