What you need to bring with you

It is generally not possible to register a vehicle in the name of a minor unless

• this person fulfills the requirements of Section 3a of the Motor Vehicle Tax Act due to a severe disability, or
• this person is in possession of the driving license required for the vehicle subject to registration and can therefore be the owner of this vehicle.

If these requirements are met, the consent of the legal guardian(s) is also required. This consent must be given in writing. Accordingly, the identity documents of the legal guardian(s) must also be presented at the time of registration (a photocopy is sufficient).
