Dementia—It Doesn't Care About Age
“Dementia Knows No Age…” is the theme of World Alzheimer’s Day and Dementia Awareness Week 2026, centered around September 21.
We are pleased to announce that from September 18, 2026, to September 27, 2026, the Ludwigsburg district will once again host numerous interesting events, informational evenings, and a variety of activities.
The kickoff event for Dementia Awareness Week will take place on Friday, September 18, 2026, from 4:30p. m.to6:00 p.m. at the Ludwigsburg District Office.
In her presentation titled “Dementia—(Not) Just a Matter of Age,” Christina Kuhn, executive director of Demenz Support Stuttgart and leader of a self-help group for people with memory loss, will explain that dementia is much more than just a disease of old age. She will provide information about living with a dementia diagnosis, available support options, and how to lead a fulfilling life with dementia.
The event is free of charge.
