Hunting law

The lower hunting authority, Ludwigsburg District Office, District Police Department, is responsible for issuing hunting licenses.

The following types of hunting license can be issued:

• Annual hunting license (one or three hunting years)
• Daily hunting license (14 consecutive days)
• Youth hunting license (one hunting year)
• Falconry and non-resident hunting licenses

It is now possible to make an appointment online. You can book an appointment for your desired service here.

For the first application:

• Proof of expertise (hunter's examination certificate)
• Identity card
• A photograph
• Proof of insurance for the duration of the requested validity of the hunting license
• Application: In person
