Who is Wusel?
Wusel is a small, clever forest mouse who has been providing children with exciting nature adventures since 2021. The Wuselpfad was originally opened during the Whitsun vacations in 2021 and has since wandered through the district of Ludwigsburg as a mobile forest adventure trail. In total, Wusel has been a guest in fifteen different municipalities.
Several stations are planned again this year over the vacations.
Content and concept
The Wuselpfad is a nature-oriented, interactive activity for children aged four and over. It leads along a route of around one and a half to two kilometers through the forest. At eight lovingly designed stations, families are invited to get to the bottom of Wusel's disappearance.
The children follow a narrated story, discover clues, solve puzzles and master small movement and thinking tasks. In the process, they encounter various forest dwellers who provide clues or pose small challenges.
The aim is to find Wusel and find out what is behind his disappearance.
Notes on use
Wusel is a free forest education program offered by the forestry department in the district of Ludwigsburg
The trail is not suitable for baby carriages throughout. In some places, the pram may have to be parked at the side of the path for short stretches, or a longer route suitable for baby carriages may have to be taken.
