Promotion of physical activity
Movement pass
The Bewegungspass is a comprehensive program for promoting motor skills in children aged 2 to 7 years. The concept is suitable for implementation in the living environments of children in this age group, especially in daycare centers, elementary school and (sports) clubs. Climbing like a monkey, moving the ball deftly like a seal and balancing safely like a squirrel - children learn motor skills through play and record their progress in their own movement pass.

In 2026, the Ludwigsburg health department is focusing on cardiovascular prevention. As part of this, a variety of campaigns are planned that are aimed at different target groups and environments. The aim is to raise awareness of health-conscious lifestyles, impart knowledge and promote an early examination of one's own health.

The following link will take you to the Stop Measles website of the Ludwigsburg District Office: Stop Measles
Vaccinations are one of the most important measures to protect children from serious infectious diseases. Especially in kindergartens, many children come into contact with each other every day - good vaccination protection therefore not only helps your own child, but also especially those who cannot yet be vaccinated or cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons. Vaccination is therefore not only a personal matter, but also a social responsibility.
Together we can help to contain diseases and ensure that children grow up safely. We therefore provide you with important information and materials on the subject of vaccinations.
You can download the overview table of current vaccination recommendations for nursery children from the following link: Vaccination recommendations for nursery children.
You can also find the current vaccination calendar in 10 different languages under the following link on the RKI website: RKI vaccination calendar
The Stiko app offers you clear and comprehensible information on recommended vaccinations for children, adolescents and adults as well as practical information on vaccination calendars and booster vaccinations.

AIDS course
On average, around eight people in Germany are infected with HIV every day. We have more infected people than ever before. As prevention is the only protection against HIV infection and later AIDS, intensive educational work must continue.
The Health Department's "Aids course" provides information on the Aids problem without pointing a finger. At five game stations, pupils can discuss the topics of love, sexuality, contraception and Aids in small groups and test their knowledge.
Interested schools in the Ludwigsburg district can make an appointment for the Aids course with the health department.
Peer Project - Let's talk about sex
Under the motto "Let's talk about sex", young people are trained as multipliers (peers). In the seminars, which build on each other over three afternoons and a weekend, interested young people are offered training on various topics such as love, sexuality, partnership, contraception, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, sexual orientation, norms and values in sexuality, project planning and group dynamics.

Nutrition is a very important part of a child's development. The first tendencies towards malnutrition are often set at a young age. But what is healthy? How many sweets are good for a child? What ingredients do different foods contain? These and many other questions are answered in a playful way on the nutrition trail. Participants can test their knowledge at 5 play stations. All the senses are involved and stimulated.
The course is suitable for pre-school children, schoolchildren and adults and is adapted to the respective age group.
Teaching units, action days, multiplier training courses, film events etc. are offered for pupils from the 10th grade, students and interested citizens. There is also the opportunity to exchange ideas with transplant recipients.
Further information can be found, for example, in the press release from the Ludwigsburg District Office: Organ donation
