The call for proposals has closed, and the advisory board, acting as the selection committee, has made its decisions regarding the projects. These projects are currently being implemented.
Call for Proposals 2027
Funding for 2027 has not yet been approved. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a timeline at this time. However, we are confident that we will be able to issue another call for proposals next year.
Make the most of this time—start planning your project for 2027!
Many ideas seem simpler at first glance than they turn out to be in practice. That’s why you should start planning early. Important considerations include, for example, whether the project aligns with the association’s goals and fits within the specified budget. If necessary, coordinating the project’s framework with the relevant authorities early on is usually very helpful. This will allow you to meet the project submission deadline with ease and give your project a strong start.
We’re happy to assist you even in the early planning phase with initial questions, clarifying your ideas together, and providing further support as needed.
The association funds projects aimed at preserving steep-slope vineyards in the following areas:
- Steep-slope viticulture as cultural heritage and a symbol of the region: raising the profile of steep-slope wines
- Developing the Neckarschleifen wine-culture landscape as an experiential space and tourist destination
- Vineyard terraces with a new future— innovative uses and prospects for steep slopes at risk of abandonment
- Cultural heritage as a shared responsibility —raising awareness and finding partners.
The project must be feasible with a budget of between €2,500 and €20,000 (net). The net amount is then eligible for 80% in grants. The total amount of available funding has not yet been determined. In recent years, around 15 projects have typically been funded, as not all required the maximum grant amount.
The implementation and final accounting for each project must be completed in full within the respective year!
The investment must be carried out within the boundaries of the member municipalities of the regional management organization.
