The aim of the Ludwigsburg district's new steep slope app is to show visitors and residents of the region the terraced steep vineyards as a unique cultural landscape that is worth preserving. The app provides users with background information on the terraced steep slopes, viticulture and information on tourist attractions (hiking trails, viewpoints, etc.), regional products and their producers.
Another focus of the steep slope app is the integration of restaurants and sales offers that have a close connection to the steep slope wines in our district. By creating an emotional connection between app users and the steep slope vineyards in the district, winegrowers, cooperatives and other stakeholders in the steep slope vineyards can find new customers and market their products. Other catering businesses from the participating municipalities with a clear connection to steep vineyard sites can still be added to the app.
The app also features augmented reality and gaming elements, such as a quiz or collecting virtual stamps at experience points.
The app is supported by nine municipalities along the Neckar: Besigheim, Bönnigheim, Gemmrigheim, Hessigheim, Ingersheim, Kirchheim am Neckar, Ludwigsburg, Mundelsheim and Walheim.

Not everyone will be enthusiastic about digitalization in the company right away. A fundamental change process quickly ensues, which can easily spiral out of control if there is a lack of control. Resistance, heated debates and "boiling" emotions are not uncommon. You can find out how to successfully shape and communicate digital change in your company in the seminar organized by the Centre for Digitalization Stuttgart Region. The program includes a specialist presentation, discussion and group work.
Participation is free of charge. The date is 25.10., 16-17.30. The event will be offered as an online seminar. Participation is only possible after registration at https://www.zd-bb.de/zdbbakademie/
