Registration
Registration is very simple. You have the following options:
- online via this website
A distinction is made between the 1st half-year and the 2nd half-year.
The 1st semester is from January to July. The registration phase usually begins in November and lasts until the end of December of the previous year.
The 2nd semester is from September to December. The registration phase usually begins in May and runs until the end of June of the same year.
You can see the exact time slots directly at the event under the terms "Registration start" and "Registration deadline".
Depending on the area and type of event, there may be a waiting list.
We do not have a waiting listfor § 8a SGB VIII training courses . This means that you can register at any time up to the end of the registration phase, even if the system calls it "registration on waiting list". We check the registrations at the end of the registration phase and allocate places to the facilities fairly. You will always receive an acceptance or rejection by e-mail.
As soon as your registration has been processed in our system, you will receive an acceptance or rejection by e-mail, but at the earliest after the end of the registration deadline.
In the area of § 8a SGB VIII training courses, this takes place after the end of the registration phase. We then check the registrations received and allocate places to the facilities. You will receive an acceptance or rejection by e-mail once the places have been allocated. Until then, please be patient and refrain from making inquiries.
As a public youth welfare organization, we want to support your professionals in fulfilling their legal duty to protect children's welfare by offering training courses. The knowledge acquired there is passed on to the teams as multipliers.
At the same time, we believe it is important that training on this topic is also provided within the facilities so that professional attitudes and confidence can develop within the teams.
The commitments in the basic principles of Section 8a SGB VIII may also be understood as commitments for your facility and are not tied to specific individuals.
We see our Section 8a SGB VIII training courses as multiplier training courses. It is important to us to speak the same language in the district when it comes to child protection, which is why we understand and offer these free training courses as a supplementary service.
However, we do not have the capacity or resources to train all professionals in the district. For this reason, multipliers from each facility can take part in our training courses and pass on their knowledge to the teams.
We therefore ask for your understanding that we can offer each facility a maximum of 1 seminar place for the same events per tender period.
Deregistration
You can cancel without giving reasons in text form by e-mail. The period begins at the earliest with the receipt of this instruction. Timely dispatch of the revocation is sufficient to comply with the revocation period.
Please note that in the area of § 8a SGB VIII training courses, commitments for the basic seminars may be understood as a commitment for your institution and are not personal. This means that a deregistration is only necessary if no one from the institution should attend. Participation in the advanced seminars requires the basics of § 8a SGB VIII.
