The energy agency in the Ludwigsburg district is the point of contact for climate protection in the region. It advises citizens, local authorities, companies, associations and institutions when it comes to energy savings, renewable energies, energy efficiency, energy-efficient construction and renovation as well as funding opportunities.
The LEA's neutral and independent expertise is available free of charge to homeowners and tenants as part of an initial consultation. In addition to this, the LEA also creates energy concepts for buildings, new development areas or as part of urban development projects and implements heat transition projects.
In the field of education, the energy agency offers a comprehensive program for daycare centers and schools as well as training courses for adults and develops and conducts seminars for experts.

Note: The Ludwigsburg Climate Bonus funding pot for 2025 has been exhausted, which is why the program will be closed on 1.9.2025. All applications received by 31.8.2025 will still be processed. If all requirements for funding are met, they will be approved and measures will be funded.

National climate protection initiative
With the National Climate Initiative, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy supports numerous climate protection projects and assists with their implementation. The funding programmes support municipalities, companies, educational institutions, civil society organizations and many more in implementing climate-friendly projects on site. The funding priorities are broadly based and range from wastewater disposal to lighting and mobility.
