A total of 162 kilometers of cycling pleasure with map and digital tour plan

The district of Ludwigsburg is celebrating another milestone on its anniversary cycle route: the 162-kilometre circular route along the district border is now fully signposted throughout. This makes cycling through 21 towns and municipalities in the district not only a scenic and cultural experience, but also a tour of discovery through the district.

Three people stand behind a display table. They are dressed in bright green shirts and are smiling. One person holds a large map, while another holds brochures. The table features brochures and a scenic image of vineyards. The background includes text in German.

The anniversary cycle route was officially opened in April 2024 by District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier to mark the 50th anniversary of the district. The route combines idyllic river valleys, expansive views, charming town centers and cultural highlights to create a unique overall picture of the region - optimized for e-bikes and ideal for day trips or tours lasting several days.

Thanks to the now completed signposting, orientation along the route is extremely easy. Whether it's a spontaneous weekend tour or targeted stage planning: the anniversary cycle route invites you to discover the district of Ludwigsburg from a new perspective.
