Heat pumps play a decisive role in a future-proof heat supply. But how can they be operated as economically as possible and what is needed to ensure that they can also be used efficiently in old buildings? All these topics will be discussed at the information event.

Expert presentation and exchange on heat pumps and the energy transition

The event will open at 6 p.m. with a welcome from Dr. Florian Bargmann, Mayor of Besigheim, a video message from Dietmar Allgaier, District Administrator of the Ludwigsburg district, and Marie Joram from the Ludwigsburg district energy agency. The focus of the evening will be the presentation by Dr. Marek Miara from the Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems (ISE) in Freiburg. He will shed light on the opportunities and challenges of using heat pumps in existing buildings and will be available to answer questions from the audience. In addition, the LEA will provide information on the legal framework and funding opportunities for replacing heating systems and on the launch of the Besigheim Energy Caravan - an offer of 60 free energy consultations for citizens in Besigheim until December 31, 2025.

The event will be rounded off with information stands from energy consultants and heating engineers as well as refreshments. Admission is free, registration is not required.
