2024 is all about climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg. As shaping a sustainable district is only possible together, the opinions of citizens are being sought for two important concepts in addition to the involvement of technical expertise and municipal representatives. A dual survey on the climate protection concept and climate mobility plan has been set up for this purpose. It's worth taking part: if you take part, you have the chance to win €1,000 for a bicycle dealer, Germany tickets for a year, sunglasses and vouchers, for example for cooking courses. Those who take part in both surveys double their chances of winning one of the attractive prizes.
The online survey will kick off with a digital public launch event on July 4, 2024 from 6 to 7 p.m., at which the background and content of the two plans will be explained. Interested citizens can find out about the creation process and the opportunities to contribute their own suggestions. The dial-in details will be announced shortly beforehand on the website www.heimspiel-fuers-klima.de.
District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier would like to encourage participation: "The involvement of the people who live here is essential for us as an administration in order to make our district fit for the future together. We cordially invite you to get involved and would be delighted if as many citizens as possible take part in the information event and the surveys and share them with their family, friends and acquaintances."
New levers for effective climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg
The aim of updating the climate protection concept is to identify new levers for effective climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg - for example in the areas of renewable energy and heating, consumer behavior and education. The climate mobility plan identifies measures in the mobility sector that are intended to reduce greenhouse gas emissions locally. Specifically, the aim is to reduceCO2 emissions in transportation by 55 percent (compared to 2010).
The two concepts are due to be completed in spring 2025. The measures developed in each case will then be put into practice step by step. A special feature of the climate mobility plan is that once it has been drawn up, towns and municipalities in the district can claim a "climate bonus" in the form of an increased funding rate for projects in thetransport sector.
Further information on the two concepts can be found at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/klimaschutzkonzept and www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/klimamobilitaetsplan.
