No new findings yet on the security incident at Ludwigsburg District Office

The investigations by the Baden-Württemberg Cybersecurity Agency and the Baden-Württemberg State Office of Criminal Investigation into the suspected attack are continuing. The investigations will continue over the weekend.

The IT team at Ludwigsburg District Office is being supported by service provider PiraCon, the Baden-Württemberg cyber security agency, Komm.ONE, the Baden-Württemberg State Office of Criminal Investigation and IT staff from AVL, RKH-Kliniken, Stadtwerke Ludwigsburg-Kornwestheim GmbH and the city of Ludwigsburg. The teams are also working continuously at weekends in the district office and in all branch offices so that certain priority services of the district office can be offered to citizens again as soon as possible.

District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier: "I would like to thank our citizens for their understanding so far and hope that we will be able to offer our services again to the usual extent as soon as possible. We are also working with all the relevant teams at the weekend - many thanks to our employees."

The district authority will report on new developments at the weekend in the info box on the homepage of the district office website and on its own social media channels. Customers with appointments for Monday, 15.05.2023 should definitely inform themselves there in advance. Emails received by the district administration office during the downtime will not be lost and will be processed once the systems have been restored. We would like to point out that there may be delays in processing emails. The district administration office can still be reached by telephone during normal office hours.
