Autumn magic in the Ludwigsburg district: unforgettable excursions for the vacations

The autumn vacations offer the perfect opportunity to enjoy the colorful season in the district of Ludwigsburg. Whether you want to explore nature, experience history or have fun with the family - the district has something for everyone. Here are some great excursion tips to make your fall vacation unforgettable.

Celtic trail with a visit to the Celtic museum

In good weather, cyclists can follow in the footsteps of the Celts in the Ludwigsburg district on the approximately 34 km long Celtic Trail. The trail leads past nine interesting sites. The highlight of the tour is the Celtic Museum in Hochdorf/Enz, which has recently been redesigned. A special exhibition on the subject of "Gold Power Princes" is currently on display here. Kraich and Metter cycle path

The Metter cycle path runs for around 29 km between Sternenfels-Diefenbach, the source of the River Metter, and Bietigheim-Bissingen an der Enz, passing sun-drenched vineyards, orchards rich in varieties, picturesque brook landscapes and shady forests. The perfect tour for a sunny fall day.

In combination with the almost 64 km long Kraich Cycle Path, you can cycle from the Rhine to the Enz. In combination, the two cycle paths become a (multi-day) highlight.

Jubilee cycle path

One of the three stages of the Jubilee Cycle Path is ideal for an autumn excursion by e-bike. On each of the 40 to 60 km long sections, you can discover and experience the different facets of the district. A number of special sights also invite you to linger.

Hiking through the terraced vineyards

The Neckarschleifen steep slope loops in Kirchheim am Neckar, Ingersheim, Gemmrigheim, Mundelsheim and Hessigheim offer magnificent views over a length of 5 to 7 km and allow you to experience the steep slopes first-hand. World's largest pumpkin exhibition and glowing dream trails

The pumpkin exhibition at the Blühenden Barock is also ideal for a fall excursion. Pumpkin art can be admired, pumpkin cuisine can be tasted and a varied entertainment program can be enjoyed until Sunday, 3 November.

From October 26 to December 1, the Luminous Dream Paths will once again illuminate the Blühende Barock Ludwigsburg with their light installations.
