"Inclusion in daycare centers" training event focuses on self-care and health for professionals

Over one hundred educational professionals from daycare centers in the Ludwigsburg district recently met at the Ludwigsburg district office for this year's "Inclusion in daycare centers" training event. The focus was on the health and self-care of professionals - key topics that make a decisive contribution to the successful implementation of inclusive education.

In her presentation, speaker Nanni Glück provided practical impulses for a health-promoting daycare center routine (Ludwigsburg District Office).

Daycare centers are often the first place where children experience community, learn and develop. Inclusion is a joint task so that all children, regardless of their circumstances, have the same opportunities to participate. The district of Ludwigsburg is already providing support with various forms of integration assistance, regular training and other measures to strengthen inclusive structures.

Focus on health: strengthening professionals, enabling inclusion

At the beginning of the event, psychologist Nanni Glück gave practical tips for a healthy daycare center in her presentation "Stress management and self-care". She posed the provocative question "Is stress the enemy of happiness?", which she then backed up with scientific findings and examples. The participants then delved deeper into the topics in five workshops, ranging from positive psychology and non-violent communication to strengthening their own resources.

Insights and outlook

To conclude, representatives from the workshops shared key insights and personal "aha moments". The event clearly showed that inclusion can only succeed if professionals themselves remain strong, healthy and able to act.
