For almost two weeks now, citizens have been able to share their experiences and opinions on climate protection in the district. By updating the climate protection concept and drawing up the climate mobility plan, the district of Ludwigsburg aims to drive forward climate protection locally. The development is to be supplemented by a survey of citizens.
Around 1,100 questionnaires have already been completed online. "We are delighted that so many people in the district have already taken part in our double survey. This is also thanks to our committed local authorities, associations and institutions in the district, who are actively promoting the survey. We would like to thank them and all participants and are looking forward to the results," says Julia Neuhäuser, Head of Climate Protection at the District Office. Interested parties can take part in the survey at www.heimspiel-fuers-klima.de until the end of July.
Take part now and win great prizes
The Climate Protection Department would like to reach even more citizens with various campaigns. On Sunday, July 21, the district office will have a stand at the NaturVision film festival in Ludwigsburg. The employees of the district office will inform interested parties about the topics of climate protection, sustainable mobility and cycling with city cycling and present the survey.
Those who take part in one or both surveys not only help to shape climate protection in the district, but can also win great prizes: 1,000 euros for a bicycle dealer, Germany tickets for one year, sun glasses and vouchers, for example for cooking courses. Anyone who takes part in both surveys doubles their chances of winning one of the attractive prizes.
Effective climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg
The aim of updating the climate protection concept is to identify new levers for effective climate protection in the district of Ludwigsburg. Meanwhile, the climate mobility plan identifies measures in the mobility sector to reduce greenhouse gas emissions locally.
The two concepts are due to be completed in spring 2025. The measures developed in each case are already being implemented step by step in parallel. Once the climate mobility plan has been drawn up, towns and municipalities in the district will be able to claim a "climate bonus" in the form of an increased funding rate for projects in thetransport sector.
Further information on the two concepts can be found at www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/klimaschutzkonzept and www.landkreis-ludwigsburg.de/klimamobilitaetsplan.
