The traveling exhibition NEUES AUSPROBIEREN! enables women and young girls to make Girls' Day Future Day a topic of discussion this week. The starting point for the exhibition is young women who found their training occupation or course of study through Girls' Day. The traveling exhibition portrays some of these young women and their professions or courses of study in technology, crafts, engineering, natural sciences and IT. The role models show that there are a variety of jobs that girls rarely consider when choosing a career. Like Girls' Day, the exhibition aims to encourage girls to TRY OUT NEW THINGS.

Equality prevails on the stock exchange. So it doesn't matter who places the order to buy a share. Although women are still somewhat underrepresented, they have the same opportunities as men. The media have already reacted and deliberately use female speakers to present the latest stock market report. In the USA, this has long been the case with broadcasters such as Bloomberg and CNBC.
Stocks from Germany and Europe are addressed in the presentation. America, China, Japan and Australia also play a role. How are shares valued? How can prices be compared? These questions will be answered. People are individuals and therefore the share portfolios of the participants are put together differently. The lecture will reinforce this tendency.

In this exhibition, the artist Barbara Weiland from Tyrol presents her embroidery art "WeibsBilder" in the Wendelinskapelle gallery in Marbach.
"I grew up with needle and thread," says Barbara Weiland about herself. Her voluntary work with historical papers in the archives of the silver town of Schwaz as part of her work on women's biographies gave her the impetus to return to her old knowledge in 2018. Since then, she has created numerous StickArt pictures based on old sheets from fashion magazines - which she deliberately calls "WeibsBilder". Even though the term "woman" has been greatly devalued in modern times, it actually stands for a noble, beautiful woman and her work with needle and thread adorns women.

Opening hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. - 6 p.m.; Wednesdays and Saturdays: 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

The shot phase method

Do you have a professional or personal goal, but don't know how to achieve it? Do you want to do more sport? And of course you should get out into the fresh air more often? That's three goals at once!

But don't worry, you can learn to achieve your goals. If you see yourself in these three points, then the "archery method" is right for you! Why should archery of all things help you to achieve your goals? Quite simply: in archery you go through the same phases again and again, just as every goal achievement project is divided into several logical successive phases. And in the archery method, there is a corresponding phase in the shooting process for each phase of goal achievement.

After clarifying your goal, you will first be taught the basics of intuitive archery. We look at which phases you are already comfortable with and where there is still room for improvement. We will then consider together how you can transfer what you have experienced in archery to your professional or personal goal. This way, you can achieve all three goals in one go and get to know an exciting sport at the same time.

Are you afraid of being too immobile, too unathletic or otherwise unsuitable for this offer? This offer is suitable for EVERYONE. You are also welcome to take part in the mini-webinar on 04.05. | 17.00 - 17.30 | "Achieving goals can be learned".

Founding & networking in special times: There are many ways into and through self-employment. For many, taking the step into self-employment is a dream come true, but self-employment is like many other projects: Everything is planned and thought through - yet the reality then often looks different from what "women" imagined. It takes more than a good business idea, business cards and a homepage to be satisfied with being self-employed in the long term. At this reality talk, you will have the chance to look into the treasure chests of self-employed women from a wide variety of sectors.

The following topics will be addressed:

  • Visions. Dreams. Reality.
  • What works well and where are the stumbling blocks?
  • How do I deal with euphoria and discouragement?
  • Why can it make sense to keep self-employment open as an option?
