As part of the construction work, the existing asphalt layers were removed and the base and surface courses were restored. The water pipes were also completely renovated on behalf of the town of Remseck. Work on laying the asphalt layers will begin next Tuesday, November 14.
The asphalt surface course is scheduled to be laid on Thursday,16.November. The access road from the K 1673 to Wilhelmsplatz will also have to be fully closed for around two hours in the morning for this. During this period, access to the residential area at Fuchsgrube will only be possible via Talstraße near the bus turnaround at the end of Hochdorf. As soon as the asphalt has cooled down sufficiently, access via Wilhelmsplatz is expected to be possible again as usual around midday.
Remaining work in the following week - route open again without restrictions until 24.11.
In the following week, some remaining work will be carried out, such as applying the road markings. The dismantling of the construction site will begin on November 21. The entire route should be fully accessible again by Friday, November 24, one week earlier than planned. The district has earmarked around 400,000 euros for the project.
The construction project is the first of a total of three construction phases in which the district, together with the town of Remseck, is comprehensively renovating the Remseck-Hochdorf thoroughfare, including the associated water pipe network. Next year, the overall project will continue with the renewal of Affalterbacher Straße. The last of the three construction phases will be the construction of Hochberger Straße from the entrance to the town to the junction with Bittenfelder Straße in 2025.
