Language creates awareness and images and therefore realities. And language is always changing. However, it is not enough to think about women linguistically; women want to be visible in language. The keynote lecture by Prof. Dr. StephanieGoeke on March 8, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Ludwigsburg District Office, Hindenburgstraße 40, large conference room, is dedicated to this topic. All interested parties, men and women and people with other gender identities are welcome to attend. After the talk, there will be time for discussion over a small drink.

Please register by email at: gleichstellungsbeauftragte[at]landkreis-ludwigsburg.de (stating your full name) by March 6. Participation is free of charge. The event is organized by the Equal Opportunities Officer of the Ludwigsburg district with the support of the Schiller Adult Education Centre in the Ludwigsburg district. Since 1911, women have been celebrating "International Women's Day", which draws attention to women's rights and gender equality worldwide. The day is intended to celebrate the achievements of women's rights movements to date, draw attention to existing discrimination and inequalities and encourage people to work towards equality for women themselves.
