Poster campaign: Youth welfare office - support that gets through

In times of lockdown, homeschooling and restrictions on social life, children, young people and families are under particular stress. The youth welfare office of the Ludwigsburg district wants to show with a poster campaign that it continues to listen and help where it can, even in difficult times. "With this campaign, we as a youth welfare office want to send a clear signal: We are available despite everything. Especially for young people who are in a difficult situation and are wondering where they can get help," says District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier.

After a year with Corona, the children and young people in our district are facing major challenges: Homeschooling, confined spaces, quarantine, financial uncertainties and unclear prospects. This is not without consequences. Families are reaching their limits, young people and children are developing depression and anxiety and are no longer able to keep up at school. These are just a few examples of current developments.

The youth welfare office of the Ludwigsburg district is taking part in the campaign days of the Federal Working Group of the State Youth Welfare Offices from April 20 to May 20, 2021 with a poster campaign entitled: "Youth welfare office - support that arrives". "As the Ludwigsburg Youth Welfare Office, we are available for children, young people and their families and offer advice and support in many different ways," emphasizes District Administrator Dietmar Allgaier. From general social services, the foster children service, the adoption department, economic youth welfare, youth work and district youth care, the child day care competence center to guardianships, youth welfare in criminal proceedings, the counseling center for single parents and counseling by the psychological counseling center, the youth welfare office offers a very wide range of support and advice. "Especially during Corona, our contact points are open to young people and their families," emphasizes District Administrator Allgaier.
