Kaiser succeeds Dr. Walter Rogg, who was Managing Director of WRS for 28 years. Before moving to Stuttgart, Kaiser was in charge of the City of Karlsruhe's Economic Development Agency for 13 years. The 49-year-old originally comes from Lower Saxony.

Networking as an important building block for a successful transformation process

District Administrator Allgaier explained the upcoming joint projects of WRS and the district of Ludwigsburg, such as a study on the potential of commercial space in all 39 municipalities, which will be launched shortly, and the joint appearance at the Expo Real investor trade fair in Munich. "I am looking forward to the collaboration and the professional exchange," said the district administrator. "We have a strong economy in our district, but at the same time we are facing a major transformation process in which our companies also need to successfully master the drive and energy transition." Being well networked and thus being able to offer companies added value is an important building block here.

Goal: intensify cooperation

Collaboration, including through the jointly established position of district business promoter for the Ludwigsburg district, is to be further intensified in the coming years. This will also ensure that the services offered by WRS for companies in transition, start-ups and innovative SMEs are targeted at the district of Ludwigsburg.
