Network meeting "Digital administration - best practices for OZG implementation" in the district hall Challenges and opportunities of the Online Access Act are to be tackled and shaped together

The aim of the network meeting "Digital administration - best practices for OZG implementation" was to jointly tackle and shape the challenges and opportunities of the Online Access Act (OZG) as a district. The Ludwigsburg district administration office recently hosted the meeting in the main conference room of the district building. Representatives from the towns and municipalities as well as the district administration took part in the event. Mayors Thomas Schäfer from Hemmingen and Torsten Bartzsch from Murr provided the impetus for the kick-off of the first network meeting.

A diverse group of people stands together in a hall, smiling at the camera. They are gathered around two displays, which are partially visible. The setting appears to be a conference or seminar, with many individuals wearing name tags.

After a welcome address by Andreas Eschbach, the department head responsible for digitalization at the district administration office, Vera Born and Sandrina Spiegl from the Digitalization and eFile department gave a specialist presentation on the OZG. The event focused on the status quo of the OZG, implementation options and information sources for the OZG from the perspective of the authorities, best practices for implementing the OZG at the district administration office and interactive live surveys on various OZG issues. There was also an exchange of experiences.

Francois Guilmin, Head of Digitalization and IT at the district administration office, promised that this would be the start of further events and network meetings on various "digital administration" topics. This new format is intended to promote networking in the district and exploit synergies. From June, an eGovernment coordinator based at the district administration office will be on hand to advise municipalities and towns on all digitalization issues.
