Courage, freedom and a new beginning: Robert-Franck-Schule celebrates 71 high school graduates

With pride, emotion and a clear view of the future, the graduates of the Robert-Franck-Schule celebrated their graduation together with parents, teachers and friends. A total of 71 students from five classes of 13 received their diplomas on this festive evening, while a few others celebrated the academic part of their advanced technical college entrance qualification.

A group of 17 graduates stands on a stage, each holding a certificate. They are dressed in formal attire, with a mix of dresses and suits. The background features a simple, elegant design, and soft lighting highlights the celebratory event.

The stage first belonged to Headmaster Steffen Benz, who covered a wide range of topics in his speech - from memories of formative experiences over the past three school years to the importance of the institution of school and the new phase of life that now lies ahead of the young people. In his speech, he emphasized: "Life requires the courage to make decisions. Trying out this courage, making your own decisions and being able to go new ways - that means freedom."

Awards for special achievements

The fact that this courage and commitment have already borne fruit was demonstrated by the numerous awards presented during the evening: 15 graduates achieved an A-level average and received prizes for this from Frank Ziegner, Head of Department at the Business High School. A further ten students were honored with commendations for good performance. Numerous prizes were also awarded for outstanding achievements in individual subjects.

An evening full of gratitude

In addition to pride in what had been achieved, the evening was also characterized by great gratitude. The important role of parents and families, whose support has been a mainstay in recent years, was emphasized several times. As an expression of appreciation, the class and subject teachers were also invited on stage and surprised with personal gifts from their classes.

The outgoing student representative team, Ela Acikgözoglu and Leonardo Tabusso, led through the evening with confidence, but also with thoughtful tones. They did not forget to remember those classmates who had not yet achieved their goal this year. "Even those who are now repeating or taking a different path deserve our respect," was the message.

With much applause, short anecdotes and great emotions, this year's graduating class of the Robert Franck School said goodbye - ready for what comes next: "real life".
